What we collect
Waitlist: your email, your role, your name if you give it, what you want to build if you tell us, and when you gave consent.
Reader access: your name, email, GitHub username, the passphrase from the book, where you bought the book, and when you gave consent.
These forms are not for patient information. Please never enter any.
Why we collect it
We use waitlist details to email you about The Physician Coder. We use reader access details to check your request and invite you to the private GitHub repo.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), in Montréal, Canada. The site is hosted on Vercel. Email to our addresses is forwarded through Cloudflare.
To stop spam, we keep a scrambled version of your IP address for a short time. We don't store the address itself.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, email hello@proudscientist.org.
We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA). We only email you about the book if you ticked the consent box, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
